John Chapter 14 (graphite412 ambient mix)
This is an ambient mix of the 14th chapter of John from the World English Bible. The scripture is read by Dolores Thompson and Karsten Klemme. The scripture reading is slower than most audio books, making it easier to listen along, and the text is from the World English Bible, a modern English translation that is in the public domain. The chants are from the musicasacra.com audio library. I'm releasing this under a CC0 1.0 Universal license. The chants as well as the scripture reading were also released in a public domain/Creative Commons no restrictions license. The soundscape that serves as the foundation of the music is a recording of the Montrose power plant in Missouri. Label: Electronica 4 God Release Number: e4g022 Copyright: Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal //Release Date December 2012

Deus est Lux I
Deus est Lux I is the first track of what should become, God willing, a series of tracks, perhaps similar to the peacemaker series. Deus est Lux I is a peaceful journey through a sonic soundscape, filled with calm rivers of changing harmonies. This track is a result of an eager desire to create sounds that journey to the edge of unchanging, peaceful solitude.

A Grain of Wheat
If there is any single word that hopefully characterizes my first album release, I would hope it to be eternal. After many years have past, I hope that these songs have not somehow pasted out of style or become like things that collect dust. I have had a desire in my heart to produce music that is inspired by a communion with God. For me this is the beginnings of a journey. The tracks are true to the ambient genre, which has been my favorite genre since my youth. The course of the album slowly builds in intensity and overall texture, then climaxes with A Grain of Wheat.

Kardia Psallo I
Kardia Psallo is a peaceful amalgamation of synthesis and recorded audio that combines into a long, drone soundscape. The sound layers blend together, swell and intermingle to create a slowly changing, complex drone. The use of various tempos and alterations of metered audio removes the sense of time to present a perspective on eternity. The name comes from the Greek words kardia and psallo, kardia meaning heart, and psallo, meaning to make melody.
The purpose behind the Kardia Psallo projects are to create a unique opportunity for individuals to interact with prerecorded music or to listen to the song by itself. The songs are created to be engaging during focused listening, but also are created to add ambiance to live performance or dj gigs. The tracks are set up to be in one key area, without changing chords from one chord to the next. The idea is similar to a drone but more complex. During the track, all the notes of the key play simultaneously, creating a key area which is similar to the tonic of the song. During the track, an instrumentalist/vocalist should be able to play/sing any note or chord that is in the key area, from one chord or note to the next without it conflicting with the track. The track is also ametric meaning that it has no inherit beat or pulse. This allows for a performer to play along with the track at various tempos without them conflicting with one another.
These factors also make it convenient for use in dj mixes or to incorporate djing with live performances of musicians and or singers. In theory, any song that is written in the same key area as the track could be performed over the track, using it as a music bed, as long as it does not modulate (change) from one key to the next or use chromatic alterations of notes.
The idea for the track was a result of wanting to use electronic music in contemporary worship settings. Having a track that is versatile and would work with many songs would bring opportunities for creativity. It also saves time from having to make a multitude of tracks for individual songs. It also allows itself to be used with djs as well.
Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”

Chris C- Only Jesus (graphite412 original mix)
This song was written by Chris C and mixed by graphite412. The style is a laid back, dubstep, soundscape with a hint of chiptune nostalgia and loads of wobble. This is graphite412's first journey into dubstep, but should not disappoint. This is released under a Creative Commons (BY NC NA) license. Feel free to give this track away to anyone.
